Angela Marshall

Author Stone, aka Angela Marshall, is an Augusta native entrepreneur and positive words powerhouse that utilizes her personal life experiences of struggle, strength and success to captivate audiences and readers abroad. She speaks with positive purpose and passion to motivate others while encouraging them through challenges. Growing up altruistic with lighter skin in an African American family environment during the 1970’s and being an unwed teen mother afforded her a view point advantage of diversity, different and determination. She is also a community advocate,  youth mentor and supporter.

In March 2016, Stone resigned from her 20-year corporate employment to allow the purpose that has pursued her throughout every level of her life, to be unmasked, unchained and untamed. Although choices in life led her down a different career path temporarily, she knew she was born to speak struggles to strength and impact lives through words. She is the CEO of, and Creative Writing Consultant for, In Other Words by Stone, located in Augusta, Ga. She is also a contributing Columnists and Poet for the TimBookTu.com website.

Author Stone seeks to inspire others through her words, work and wisdom. She is a mother, motivational speaker and business owner that often times in her past, struggled through a lavish but lacking lifestyle with her ex-husband, a former NFL player. That chapter in her life would prove pivotal to her “wise words woman” nickname and also for her autobiography, “Reality to Rags to Riches; The Story and Life of an Ex NFL Wife.”

Her first book was published on November 25^th, 2016. It is a compilation of short stories, poetry and essays titled” Lust, Lessons, Love and Life.” It chronicles her choices, consequences and growth. Author Stone has chosen the platform, The Story and Life of an Ex-NFL Wife; Reality to Rags to Riches. She talks about converting the downs in life to wins, the scores that didn’t count and making positive plays everyday. Her goal is to share her truth to the world for empowerment to enlighten, encourage and evolve others to choose living life which values people
