In 2015, Ms. Jones published her first book “Onika”. She first came in tuned with the freedom and creativity of her imagination during a seventh grade writing assignment. However, the urge to write “Onika” wasn’t until Ms. Jones was in the intensive writing MBA program that she decided to publish “Onika”.
Ms. Jones experienced first-hand the challenges of decision-making and the consequences it can have on your life financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually when she had to overcome some personal set-backs that affected her personal life. In spite of those challenges, Ms. Jones continues to stay focused on her son as he remains her source of motivation. Ms. Jones doesn’t acknowledge failure but lives by the words of Nelson Mandela “I never lose. I either win, or learn”, believing there is always multiple routes to get to one location and recognizing you have to be patient and re-route your goals to achieve your vision. Ms. Jones acknowledges that every decision has a consequence and affects our journey in life.
